1. Wear analysis between liner and piston
The wear between liner and piston is the most important wear parts in mud pump system, in order to achieve good sealing effect, it generally uses the form of a hard and soft material.
The material of piston is made of flexible and soft rubber material, and the material of liner is made of high quality and hard material-45# steel. Under this condition, the piston will be damaged firstly, after wearing out, there is no sealing and cause the mud pump to stop working.
2. Wear analysis between valve body and valve seat
The service life of valve body and valve seat is very short during working, and the seal between valve and valve seat is easy to wear out.
The reasons of sealing damage:
1) Under the normal working condition, drilling fluid with cutting will flow through the gap of valve seat by the certain rules, and flush the joint face of valve body and valve seat continuously; yet as time passed, there will be scratches and grooves on the joint face and it causes the seal to wear out.
2) When the valve is closed, the joint face of valve seat is constantly subjected to impact loads, as time passed, there will be broken scar on the face, and cause the seal to wear out.
